Margaret + Bill’s Cape Cod Elopement in Cotuit MA

We’ve photographed several 2020 elopements & micro weddings, and each one is so unique and special. Margaret and Bill had a Cape Cod elopement with just parents and Bill’s sisters watching on – married on Cape Cod just down the road from Bill’s parents’ home in Cotuit, MA, on a small lookout over a beautiful marsh.

The picture above was taken by Ben with his Mavic drone, from above the Cape marsh…a serious bonus when he photographs elopements and weddings is that he is an FAA-certified drone operator! I love this portrait – its like the two of them are the only two people in the world. Which is sometimes how it feels these days!

Everyone walked down to the lookout point M&B selected, and witnessed their wedding ceremony, short and sweet, and so meaningful because now THEY’RE HUSBAND AND WIFE!

This bride and groom laughed and danced in the tall grass by the Cape Cod bay before heading up to the house for the perfect summer dinner on the Cape – a clam bake!

The best way to end an elopement micro wedding is with a clam bake! This 10 person wedding in Cotuit enjoyed lobsters and steamers at their intimate backyard wedding.
