Snuggle up, buttercup. It’s time for Sophia & Danny’s winter wedding at the Charter Oak Club, a beautiful estate wedding venue tucked away in the woods of Central Massachusetts.
I started the day with Sophia and her best girls and Logan, her sweet fur baby. Sophia may have been the calmest bride EVER. She was just happy and content and ready to get married. She knew she loved him within the first month of knowing him. And she was so ready to be his wife.
Family is so important to Sophia & Danny, and one of my favorite moments of the day was when her dad saw her in her wedding gown for the first time, and wrapped his arms, so much love & pride in his eyes.
She kept her grandparents close to her with a beautiful photo charm, clipped into her orchid bouquet.
Meanwhile, the guys…Danny is kind and funny, and so so good with their nieces and nephews. Its one of the things Sophia loves most about him. That, and maybe the songs that he makes up about her. 😉

Before heading to Charter Oak, we of course had to pop back to their house for a few portraits with Logan in his little puppy tux bowtie.
Sophia’s girls are awesome. Her bridesmaid Adrienne is a photographer, and she’s the one who sent my name to Sophia. When I showed up, she exclaimed happily, “I’m so happy you’re here!” All of these ladies welcomed me into their group for the day, and I especially love the moment below, sharing laughs over their memories of Sophia.
Love the bouquets from Holmes-Shushas in Worcester. The cascading orchid bouquet was both classic and modern.
These kiddos are so important to Sophia & Danny, so we made time for some special moments and pictures with just them…
And then the quiet. Everyone headed inside to enjoy cocktail hour, and these two got a few uninterrupted moments to breath in the moment. Enjoy each other’s company. Laugh. Dance. Love.
Before heading in to their party, they each spent some time with their moms. I loved these moments.
Charter Oak has a surprisingly large ballroom inside that easily seats 200-250 guests, with beautiful french doors that let in lots of natural light. Their night was incredibly fun, especially thanks to Matt Majikas, World Record DJs. After their formalities were finished, Sophia requested he play mostly 90s hip hop, and boy did he deliver. BBD, Salt n Pepa. Loved every second of it. (Matt, can I get the playlist???)
