I had a vision of hosting a winter engagement session in our backyard, roasting marshmallows over our fire pit and dancing on our frozen pond. Nick & Marie loved the idea (and so did their incredibly sweet friend Kayleigh, who gifted the session to them). And even when we realized that with the mild winter we’ve had, we wouldn’t have a snowy backdrop OR frozen pond, they were still totally up for it.

So easy to work with, they shared their lives with my, and I shared mine with them. Here are some of my favorites, that truly celebrate what a beautiful connection they have and the excitement for their wedding, happening later this year.
