Jacquelyn & Patrick’s Charter Oak wedding was my first wedding of the 2014 “season” and I couldn’t have been more excited to get back. The weather was looking iffy – but Mother Nature graciously accomodated our schedule, giving us clear skies when it mattered most. Some of my favorite details from this wedding include the lace detailing on the overlay of Jacquelyn’s gown, the gorgeous incredibly-fragrant bouquets (gardenias!) by Bloomers, Jacquelyn’s wonderful family, and the non-stop dance party that started before dinner was even over. These two met line dancing, so I excitedly awaited their first dance (which didn’t disappoint) and the crazy dance party (again, didn’t disappoint). They’re big wine-lovers and travel all over to different wineries, so a winery-themed wedding was a perfect fit for them. Each table was a different winery, and there were wine accents throughout the wedding (love the cork escort card holder).
I cannot close this post without a HUGE shout out to Charter Oak. Its a hidden gem wedding venue in Central Mass. It has the appeal of an estate and Kim, the event manager, is such a pleasure to work with. I look forward to seeing her every time I photograph a wedding at Charter Oak – so accomodating and thoughtful to her clients and vendors. And the food is incredible. Extra points because they can comfortably fit a large guest list. I think they fit 200+ people comfortably (not 100% on this).
This was a great wedding to start things off right!
The photos are absolutely stunning. Jacqui and Patrick were beaming throughout the entire wedding and reception that just enhanced the whole experience. It was by far one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever attended. Well done Erica for capturing so many precious memories in your beautiful photos!
So beautiful! To think, this is only a preview! Jacqui and Patrick hired an amazing photographer, I can see! Gorgeous photos of their special; congratulations again to the newlyweds!
