Ben and I headed down to Westport, just outside of the Newport RI area, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon to photograph Devika & Mike’s Bittersweet Farm wedding. Theirs was simple and beautiful and fun and easy-going. With great details and a beautiful, cozy farm venue. We were happy.
Devika’s talented MOH designed their unique invitations. I loved them.
Devika had the most amazing gown from Anthropologie. It was covered in petals and faded from white to pink. Not only was it beautiful, but she seemed so comfortable in it!
Mike was waiting for Devika in the grounds behind the beautiful barn, lush with greenery and soft light.
Putting on a bout is hard! She got it…with a little help from Ben, expert in all things related to men’s tuxes. Except pocket squares. That one still eludes even him.
Their ceremony was held on the back lawn behind the barn at Bittersweet Farm. I love the sign directing their guests…but if we’re being honest and you know how nutty I am about light, you’ll know that I especially love the way it wrapped around the sign. 🙂
Mike literally didn’t take his eyes off Devika while one of their dear friends, Patrick Curley, officiated their wedding.
Some of my favorite wedding day moments are the ones shared with grandparents…
Mike’s mom gave him the perfect group of groomsmen…three brothers means instant wedding party! Mike’s the oldest, and they weren’t afraid to get the chance to give big brother a pat on the back and maybe nougie (is that how you spell it?!) or two.
I have a little secret…Ben joined me for this one to shoot VIDEO! We’ve been studying it and wanting to do it for years. Thank you to Devika & Mike for entrusting us with this. I’m so excited!
