Jess & Chase’s Seacrest Beach Hotel Wedding

Jess & Chase’s Seacrest Beach Hotel wedding in Falmouth was the perfect Cape Cod wedding…from the stylish hotel to the beachfront views to the refreshingly air conditioned ceremony. Not to mention these two are incredibly kind and generous people. Jess graciously presented me with a thank you card and gift within my first 5 minutes of “work” that day, and Chase made sure we didn’t miss their champagne toast on the trolley.

I loved being a part of this day and am excited to share their beautiful, sunny, Cape Cod wedding day.

Jess got ready at the Seacrest Beach Hotel while Chase and his pals hung out at this amazing house just down the road in Falmouth, right by the bay.

I started this post with a mix of color and black and white images of their ceremony, and slowly swapped all the colors for B&W. There’s just something so classic and beautiful about a black and white church ceremony.

I love Chase’s expression as he sees Jess for the first time (above) and the official handoff from dad to hus below.

Communion is my favorite part of the wedding ceremony – the pressure is off and the bride and groom get to relax for a few minutes.

And so does Jess’s sister!

Sometimes veils can make for amazing bridal portraits…and sometimes they can be a total pain! So we nailed it and then tossed it.

When in Rome…

Back at the Seacrest we created some beautiful family portraits and then I got to partake in a Chase song…his buddy’s take songs – any song really – and make a Chase version out of it. Welp, I of course chimed in…”That Chase is poooisonnnnnn”

Jess planned some great details for their reception – everything was so well-thought and Nautical-subtle. She said “no anchors, but ropes, washed wood frames, and a lobster trap or two.”

The portrait to the left below is one of the many reasons I’m so passionate about printed photos. How incredible is that?!

Love this one, captured by Ben.

Alexandra made it through a beautiful speech with the help of her supportive hubby. And remember those Chase songs? Yep. J&C were serenaded by the sweet sounds of their best man and a couple of the best groomsmen.

Ahhh. The golden hour. When the sun is close to setting and the light is soft and magical. No one else around, just the two and the ocean breeze.

Party time. We were very happy to see Craig Harriman from White Label DJs again. An all around great guy and an awesome DJ.
