Spencer & Kristina’s BC Club Wedding

There’s this incredible couple lovingly called Spencina, and watching them is like watching the most romantic fairytale movie. Its magical. I first witnessed it during their Larz Anderson engagement session in Wellesley. When they’re together, everything and everyone vanishes. Its just Spencer and Kristina.

From the moment they laid eyes on each other during their first look at the chic Ames Hotel to standing in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Copley Square to Spencer sweeping Kristina up during their beautifully choreographed first dance at the Boston College Club, spinning her round and round, foreheads never parting. Its just Spencer and Kristina. Theirs is a relationship like no other. And we had the priviledge to witness and capture the beauty of their genuine and unabashed love on their beautiful, elegant Boston wedding day. Scroll on for my favorites of the day.

Kristina & Spencer’s wedding ceremony took place at Gordon Chapel at Old South Church in Boston’s Copley Square. They planned a formal exit after a quick receiving line after the ceremony, and their guests waited excitedly to welcome them with bubbles and well-wishes!

Before we get to the reception, I wanted to give a little plug for the BC Club. We’ve been fortunate to have photographed several weddings here, including Sara, the incredible event director’s own wedding earlier this year. The venue itself – located on the 36th floor of the Bank of America building in downtown Boston with stunning views of the city and the harbor – and the entire staff from Sara to servers to bartenders, are absolutely top-notch. Welcoming and attentive and helpful. It’s always a wonderful experience working here.

I love the progression of the setting sun starting with Kristina’s sister Katelyn and Spencer’s brother Andrew’s toasts…look at that sky! With floor to ceiling windows around the entire venue, it wouldn’t be missed.

Before dancing got started, Kristina & Spencer wanted to acknowledge some of their MVP guests and gave out gifts for all sorts of things like “first to RSVP” “person who traveled the furthest (from Ireland!)” etc.

Congrats Kristina & Spencer! Witnessing your beautiful love on your wedding day was one of our 2015 season highlights. We are 100% team #spencina
