Ben and I recently had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of two of the kindest people you’ll meet. We met Lindsey & Steve last year at Kirsten & Rob’s State Room Boston wedding. Steve was Rob’s best man, and had one of the best toasts we’ve ever heard. He wears his heart on his sleeve, welcomes in new people warmly (like Ben and I) and is a friend til the end. And Lindsey is his perfect match, equally as kind and appreciative of her family & friends. She thanked me at least 20 times throughout the day, and meant it so genuinely each time.
Speaking of thanks, we have Kirsten to thank for connecting us with Steve & Lindsey. You are the very best, K!
Steve & Lindsey planned an incredible fall wedding in the White Mountains, at Whitney’s Inn.
A true gem, tucked away in the hills of Jackson NH. The foliage was in peak season for their mid-October wedding, and the colors were incredible. I’m going to attempt to keep this brief. Otherwise I will sit here all day and write about how much I adore these wonderful people, and you’d never get to see the pictures…
Lindsey & Steve’s wedding ceremony was held in a clearing in the woods across the street from Whitney’s Inn.
Wooden benches, fallen leaves and gorgeous floral arrangements marked the space, and an old stone fireplace marked the head of the aisle where they were married. A fairytale ceremony.

Their ceremony was beautiful and meaningful and I’m so glad we captured it in video for them as well. They wrote their own vows, and both barely made it through, tears in their eyes and in their voices, as they stated their love and commitment to one another. And from that moment on, it was almost as though a visible weight was lifted and the rest of the day was celebration of this incredibly meaningful moment in the woods.
Going above and beyond = laying down your jacket on a dirty ski lift so bride and groom don’t get dirty. Rob is awesome.
We had about 15 minutes of time to run to Jackson Falls for portraits, and oh did we run. Some of us without shoes on for sake of speed (Lins, you’re awesome!). Totally worth it.
Back to Whitney’s Inn as the sun set below the mountain, everyone moved from the lawn to the tent for dinner and toasts.
The Pub at Whitney’s Inn is filled with warm wood and twinkle lights, so while guests finished with dinner, we headed over early to capture the details.
I have such a sweet spot for mamas and their sons… Future MOG here.
The night was filled with so much dancing. And a ridiculous amount of pies. Twinkle lights and a fire pit burned outside for anyone needing a break, but mostly, dancing allllll night.
This day was fun and sweet and magical and meaningful. We loved every minute of it. Xoxox to Lindsey & Steve, hugs to Kirsten & Rob, and congrats to Sarah & Brian, next to be married!!!
You guys are the absolute best!! Not that we didn’t know that already xoxoxo
The photos came out amazing, can’t wait to see the rest of them!
Beautiful pictures for a beautiful couple.
