The Seaport District is one of my favorite places for engagement pictures with the best views of Boston.
Parking in the Seaport is a beast – worse now with Covid because a lot of street parking is reserved for local restaurant takeout (I’m glad they’re doing this! Support small biz!) – but the views and neighborhood ambiance are so worth a few extra minutes finding a garage or street spot. I met Myla and Jon just outside the Moakley Courthouse.
We wandered along the Boston Harbor and the Fort Point Channel, and moved on to the Tuscan Il Giardino Outdoor Restaurant where they were sweet to let us use their adorable Fiat as a backdrop, and then to the Cisco Beer Garden.
I had an idea to get the two of them relaxed together enjoying a drink…and the drink too a really really long time (lol) so they mentioned to their server that they were in the middle of their engagement session. The server got excited and thought they had just got ENGAGED that night and made a big announcement over the speakers. They were so surprised and handled it adorably as everyone raised a glass in their direction.
Cheers to finding the one to toast with for life!
