Alicia & Jonathan’s Providence Public Library Wedding

The wonderful Kristin of Swank Events reached out to us earlier this year about Alicia & Jonathan’s Providence Public Library wedding. It was one of our last 2015 wedding dates available, so we quickly set up a call to chat. These two are AWESOME. They’re both incredibly laid-back and friendly, with a touch of silly. I knew they’d be great to work with. Oh, and Alicia smells really great, too. Right, Jonathan!?

We started their Providence wedding day at the Omni Hotel – per usual, it was me with the girls and Ben with the guys.

Alicia & Jonathan planned their first look on the Quiet Green at Brown University. We choose the quiet green because, well, we thought it would be kind of quiet. We did find a little slice of peace among the college tours happening for their moment together.

Her bridesmaids totally reminded me of the 3 fairies from Cinderella here, for some reason. They just looked so happy! I also love the hunter green gowns.

We made sure to arrive at the Providence Public Library early so we could sneak in pictures before the shuttle started dropping guests off. The library is so classicly beautiful and grande.

Custom wooden crates held their cards and their “guest book” – Christmas ornaments with well-wishes from their friends and family…The flowers were incredible, a lush mix of greens and whites, flowers and veggies (cabbages, I think!).

Cocktail hour and their first dance took place in the Courtyard at the library before everyone moved to the Ship Room for dinner. Russell Morin catering did a fantastic job and were a total pleasure to work with!

Some of my favorite moments of the night…

Congratulations to Jon & Lish!
