Mike and Tori had perfect fall weather for their Milton Hoosic Club wedding. They had their ceremony outside on the lawn behind the ballroom, surrounded by ivy and soft evening light. Milton Hoosic Club is a unique little venue – it was our first time shooting here, and the things I was drawn to most were the charm of the entrance, with grand piano and in Tori & Mike’s case, sweet little pastel pumpkins, candles and flowers, the bright ballroom with theater stage and of course the ivy outside. Ivy! I love it.
Highlights from Mike & Tori’s wedding here…first lets start with her pale pink JCrew heels. I’ve seen lots of beautiful wedding shoes this year, but this pair gave me the greatest shoe envy yet.
Tori’s girls were the best – her sister was her MOH and everyone pitched in to take care of the delicate buttons on the back of her gown.
I love this moment between the moms!
While all eyes are on the bride, we love to catch the other VIPs…I love this exchange, where Mike hid his eyes from Tori until she was just in front of him waiting in nervous anticipation, and Tori’s sister Amanda watching for Mike’s reaction.
Their good friend Brandon married them, and did a fantastic job!
While guests headed to cocktail hour and wedding party enjoyed passed champagne and apps, these two disappeared into a sweet moment together, unaware of everyone else around them. I love that they took this moment for themselves.
After portraits, we headed into the ballroom to celebrate. Here are some of my favorite moments from their reception!
Congratulations, Mike & Tori!
