Andrea & Kieran’s Boston Harborside Wedding

Today is the first official day of summer, but it seriously feels like its already been a season of incredible weddings. Andrea & Kieran’s wedding at the Boston Hyatt Harborside Hotel was no exception.

Boston Hyatt Harborside has one of the best views of the city skyline. Andrea & Kieran were married on the lawn overlooking the Boston Harbor…but let’s back up a bit and start from the beginning!

Invitations by Mark Harris Stationers…

When I first met Andrea & her mom, we talked for about 2-1/2 hours at the studio. The time went like that, filled with laughs. Lots of laughs. And high expectations of a gorgeous lawn and special photo room filled with lots of light just for me. Ok, maybe not just for me. Fiiiine.

After hair & makeup, Andrea stepped away to open her gift from Kieran. “He’s the sentimental one” she said, and with a homemade photo album filled with their favorite and most meaningful memories, he got her. Thank goodness Andrea’s makeup artist Rebecca from Vanity Salon was still there for touchups!

Ok, so this girl. She. Is. Awesome. I have so many of her silly faces from the day – I mean, if you have paparazzi-for-a-day, why not have a little fun with it!?

Andrea got into her beautiful David Tutera gown in the magical sitting room (aka my special picture room) with help from her MOH/best friend Helen and her mama.

A 1937 Packard surprise waited out front to bring Andrea & her parents to the Hyatt!

Before her wedding day, Andrea told me about her brother and how much he means to her. He is her rock. They’ve been through a lot together and he’s always looking out for her. I love how he’s watching over her shoulder here, as she’s about to leave to marry her love.

Andrea’s tears kept rolling…until she hopped in the Packard!

Kieran and his buds – all friends since they were young – got ready at the Hyatt. Ben got to hang out with this easy-going crew before the outdoor wedding ceremony on the lawn.

To the Harborside! Ceremony time, seaside.

Handsome little guy. While the flower girl wouldn’t walk down the aisle with him, she was plenty happy to laugh at him and Kieran when they couldn’t get the rings off the pillow!

THE moment!

Cocktail hour was outside on the patio overlooking the Boston Harbor. Couldn’t have been more perfect.

Andrea wore her hair down for the ceremony because she knew Kieran would love it…and then had it put up for pictures and the celebration because thats how she loved it.

Andrea & Kieran’s wedding reception was in The Grand Ballroom at Hyatt Regency. The room was filled with so many flowers – white hydrangeas, soft pink roses and pink peonies. I’ve never seen such an expansive head table flower display – it had to have been 30 feet long!

The night was filled with so many meaningful moments, from the welcome speech Kieran gave to their family & friends to the sweet parent dances. Dancing after the sun went down to complete an incredible wedding day. Andrea & Kieran, thank you for inviting us to be a part of it.
