Cape Cod Family Portrait Session on the Beach

Caitlin & John planned a Cape Cod portrait session for their family on the beach, just down the road from their vacation rental in Dennis. This session immediately became one of my all-time favorites.

We walked to the beach, all while little Adeline talked excitedly about all the things we would do there. She also invited us to stay for ice cream after. It had been a couple of years since I had photographed her, but we were instant BFFs.

The sky was pink and a little hazy from wildfire smoke that had blown in from the west coast, which gave the session a surreal glow.

This sweet girl is exuberant and fun…a ball of energy, and also a little sassy, especially when paired up Grandpa! She’s blessed to be so close with her grandparents. They joined in for relaxed extended family portraits and play time – we captured their connection and love, in pictures that truly reflect their family.

Playful and not too serious, but deeply devoted.
