We had the pleasure of photographing not one but two incredible fall weddings at the Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods NH this year. I’m so excited to present Emily & Jon with their wedding highlight!

Mount Washington Resort is huge, and the basement level is one of the best parts! Stickney’s Grille, shops, the mysterious Cave Bar, and a complete spa. The Spa is HUGE – here’s where I met Emily while her makeup was finished up by Allison, one of the Resort makeup artists. Totally relaxed and enjoying the experience, I headed to her room to play with her pretty wedding details!

Emily’s wedding party was all family – so getting ready was sweet with her mom, cousins and Jon’s sister. Her bridesmaids were awesome – they could have been bridesmaids for hire, they were like pros!

Her Casablanca wedding gown was soft & flowy and she looked so elegant.

What a location for an outdoor wedding ceremony! This is the Jewell Terrace at Omni Mount Washington Resort.

This is one of my favorites of the day. Emily, absolutely radiant, with her stoic dad clasping her hand in his as he walks her down the aisle to her love.

The most epic New England mountain wedding view. Jon’s family pastor traveled from NJ to officiate their wedding.

Every angle is different and spectacular. They wrote their own heart-felt vows that had the majority of their friends & family in tears…present company included!

It was a bit chilly that afternoon, so we took some time in between family portraits to warm up. While everyone celebrated and enjoyed the apps, they snuck sweet moments. No one looking, it was like they felt alone with one another. They were the sweetest moments to watch.

Their wedding was in the Presidential Ballroom, with cocktail hour on the patio and foyer outside the ballroom.

I loved the organic, airy floral design by Ivy+Aster. Cake by Omni Mount Washington. Their table numbers were names of presidential mountain peaks.

When I declared how sweet they were together, this had to happen… #adorable!

Their wedding was sweet and loving. As a special tribute to their parents, both celebrating very longstanding marriages, they dedicated a song to each. Watching them love each other in their own ways was beautiful, and it made me think of Emily & Jon in 30+ years, dancing & loving in their own, beautiful way.
