Victoria and Jackson got married at my most favorite mountain destination! The Omni Mount Washington Resort. In the White Mountains of New Hampshire, during peak fall foliage (which is the end of Sept/beginning of Oct!). Let’s take a peek.
The day started with the best in hair and makeup, Nathan and Jeremy of Wedding AFFHairs. I highly recommend these two for a polished look and comfortable experience. Plus, they’re always beautifully on time.
Ok, the details below. I’m obsessed with the classic look of the letterpress invitations and wax seal. I used a film-like edit to maximize the texture and give it a timeless look. What do you think??
I am so in love with her wedding gown from Eddy K, Marry and Tux Bridal. The champagne underlay, the lace overlay and the draped shoulders were both elegant and romantic. She looked like a princess…
Family is incredibly important to Victoria and Jackson, and they were intentional with their family throughout the day. Her beautiful sister and mama helped her into her gown. While Jackson’s sis and her besties looked on, as her dad came in before her first look with Jackson, for his own special moment with his daughter.
Hi Jackson! You probably want a photoshopped T-Rex over your right shoulder as V comes up on your left, hehe. This guy is as easy-going as they come, and Victoria visibly relaxed as soon as she saw him.
This was the ONE Saturday it wasn’t supposed to rain in 2023 (exaggerating but not by much), and IT STILL DID.
Thankfully the Omni Mount Washington Resort has an incredible backup rain plan, with large porches and a beautiful Conservatory indoors.
The wedding was moved inside, but it honestly didn’t matter because the room was beautiful and everyone was excited. Not to be on the Jewell Terrace, but to witness two people they love get married. They were in front of the massive fireplace, surrounded by friends and family, they shared private vows and the whole room was in tears at some point. It was perfect.
And the rain broke so we could take some bride and groom just-married portraits. Mount Washington and the Presidential Range in the background, just the two of them before the party started – perfection!
Their wedding reception was in the Grand Ballroom, and was snuggly elegance. With gold chargers, candles, warm amber uplighting by Get Down Tonight Entertainment and elegant white and green florals by Cherry Blossom Floral.
Aaaand the party has started. Here’s an epic wedding entrance into the Grand Ballroom at the Omni Mount Washington Resort.
Just like I recommend Wedding AFFHairs, I 100% recommend Get Down Tonight Entertainment. He is fun to work with and was great with this 200-person wedding. See the wedding cake over his shoulder? I had to share a closer picture, isn’t it incredible?
Sisters gave the sweetest toasts, and then Jackson’s best bud took the mic to say a few words, too. Right before Victoria danced with her dad and Jackson danced with his mom. And then, the dance floor was open! EVERYONE was out there – from younger cousins to Victoria’s grandpa (who is awesome, by the way).
Congratulations Victoria & Jackson!
