Jen & Nishan’s Providence Biltmore Wedding

Today’s feature is Jen & Nishan’s beautiful Providence RI Biltmore Hotel wedding! The venue was one of their favorite parts of their wedding, and the two of them have spent lots of time strolling through the halls enjoying the history of the hotel. Jen planned her details to accentuate the classic hotel, with hints of old Hollywood glam throughout – from red roses to crystal candleholders to gold sparkle.

Nishan is undoubtedly one of the most caring people you’ll meet, and his laugh is infectious. Here are some of Ben’s shots of him getting ready with his groomsmen and Jen’s dad. Looking dapper in the tuxes!

Meanwhile I was with the girls…and Jen was cool as a cucumber, ready to get married to the man of her dreams.

Their ceremony was in the Garden Room at the Biltmore Hotel – classic and elegant, with the aisle lined with red roses and the beautiful gold & crystal chandeliers.

I love their expressions as they see each other for the first time – you know Nishan was expecting Jen to look amazing, but is still completely taken by her (The gorgeous shot of her and her dad from behind by Ben!).

One of the biggest benefits of two photographers are the ability to get both Nishan’s expression as he looks at Jen for the first time, and Jen’s expression as she’s looking at him. This is one of Ben’s and one of my absolute favorites of the day. I love the anticipation in her eyes.

Love love LOVE these next few B&Ws. This was definitely an emotional wedding – good thing Jen had tissues included with each program. EVERYONE needed them. They look at each other with so much in their eyes – from the moment I met Jen and she talked to me about Nishan, to the engagement session to their wedding day. I hope they’ll be able to look at these pictures and be taken right back to the feelings of the day. Of this exact moment.

Cocktail hour was inside because of threats of rain, which meant that we could jump out and take some rooftop terrace portraits before the sprinkles started…

Our light diffuser umbrella came in handy here 🙂

Since these two love this hotel, we made our way through the halls, inside and outside for their portraits…

Their details were perfectly coordinated and so elegant. I’m a sucker for a nice script font…and sparkle!

They blew everyone away with their first dance…and had the best time doing it!

Beautiful parent dances (if you know me, you know these get me every time!), and then the dancefloor opened to the sounds of Don at Champagne Toast.

Biltmore Hotel is known for their flambe presentation. The room gets dark and swirls of flambe float through the room before being served table-side.

Congratulations to Jen & Nishan!
