I’ve been so lucky to photograph newborn portrait sessions for the most wonderful families lately, one especially being this family. This little baby brother is so loved – his big brother is the biggest dino fan I know, so I wasn’t surprised when Mom said she found the most adorable, hand-knit dino suit for his session.

This baby boy has one amazing mama. She’s an avid runner and teaches spin in her spare time…even up until just a week before her due date! Katie ran the 2013 Boston Marathon but less than a half mile away, was unable to finish. Her husband and 3 year old son were unable to watch her get the finish she so deserved, but thankfully – and most importantly – they all made it out safely. This family was strong, and is only stronger now. I’m so happy to know them. And I was honored to feature Katie’s medal in the arms of her newest pride & joy.
