Mike & Jess’s Boston College Wedding

The forecast predicted rain, but that didn’t get Jess & Mike down about their Boston College wedding day. And the day did start with a grey drizzle – but with Boston College as the backdrop for their first look and wedding ceremony at St Ignatius Parish, we were pretty much covered with fantastic indoor “Plan B” locations. Fast forward a couple of hours when the sun came out just in time for their first look and we happily tore up Plan B and headed outside. Its possible that there couldn’t be a prettier location for couples looking for beautiful architecture and castles in the Boston area – Boston College was primed to perfection, and we made the most of it spending time at all of Jess’s (a proud BC Alum) favorite buildings.

Jess has the most incredible eye lashes. I’m still astonished by them, they look like extensions but are 100% hers! She radiates happiness and kindess, I love the portrait of her on the right. It captures up her personality so perfectly.

Everyone pitched in to get the perfect fit here, while dad watched on from the corner of the room.

The clouds were just starting to clear when we met Mike & the guys at BC.

One of Jess’s favorite spots on campus is the field in front of the library, so we chose this as the location of their first look, with the BC Eagle watching over.

After portraits, we got ready to headed to their St Ignatius Church wedding ceremony.

Instead of a traditional receiving line at the end of the ceremony, Jess & Mike greeted all of their guests as they entered cocktail hour. And the wedding celebration continued at Lake Pearl Luciano in Wrentham!

Congrats Mike and Jess. I can’t begin to explain what a pleasure it was being alongside on your wedding day!
