Nikki & Sam’s Elegant Lakeview Pavilion Wedding

Our 2024 season kicked off at Nikki & Sam’s elegant Lakeview Pavilion wedding!

These two are the sweetest humans. Beyond that Nikki also had a gorgeous vision for the day that Emerald Events absolutely took to the next level. It was fun seeing the before and after of the mood board for the day! So you’ll notice tasteful details throughout the day, from getting ready to the ballroom at Lakeview Pavilion.

It’s the small moments throughout the day that get me.

Family is so important to these two – Sam’s brother was his best man, and Nikki’s sister – who flew all the way from Maui – was her MOH.

Nikki’s Justin Alexander gown tried to steal the show. And while it’s totally GORGEOUS, it’s her hair for me! Beyond beautiful, styled by

Lakeview Pavilion is situated on a serene lake, with lush greenery surrounding the area, making it a perfect setting for a romantic and elegant wedding. Nikki planned every detail of their wedding day with the help of Emerald Events. The tasteful floral arrangements by Homegrown Blooms enhanced the ceremony space and beautiful backdrops.

This was a test shot, getting my light right (this was one of those days where it rained for 2 min, was clear for 5, rained for 15, was clear for 10 so we were inside and outside) and it’s just a fun shot that I kind of love it. It’s a vibe.

Homegrown Blooms blew me away with the floral design and presentation/service. I’ve followed their Insta since and I love that she grows her own flowers! The name implies obvi but seeing it was something else.

As Nikki walked down the aisle, it was clear she was the star of the show, her radiant smile lighting up the entire pavilion. Sam’s expression when he saw her was priceless – a mixture of joy, awe, and a hint of tears. It’s moments like these that make my job as a photographer so rewarding.

Married!

Lakeview Pavilion weddings are so well-done – from the modern ballroom ambiance to the service and the incredible food. This was our first wedding at this South Shore venue, and we were so impressed! I’d happily work here again. But I digress – back to Nikki and Sam’s reception!! Tablescapes by Emerald Events and Peak Event Rentals, flowers by Homegrown Blooms, and DJ/Lighting by 617 Weddings.

These two have the right priorities…double D’s (dinner and dancing, what did you think?!). Ben said this was the best creme brulee he’s ever had.

What. A. Blast. The whole day was inspiring, and I still smile when I think about how welcoming and kind and appreciative this couple is. It makes this job so rewarding. Thank you N&S for being a dream to work with, and CONGRATULATIONS on your marriage!!
