What do you call a couple that exudes style + grace, but also warmth + excitement?

You call them Stephanie + Dakota, whose Cliff House wedding in Ogunquit, Maine is today’s feature – timed perfectly on their TEN year anniversary. Oh, and warning, you’re about to fall in love.

Stephanie has a sophisticated eye for wedding details, and I love the simplicity of the pieces she selected from her custom wedding band to those incredible Stuart Weitzman heels. Her style is impeccable. And those flowers! This is the first time we’ve worked with Minka Flowers and I’m already looking forward to the next.

Stephanie’s maid of honor was her little sister Christina, who did such an incredible job as Stephanie’s right hand woman that day. Steph did such a good job of keeping tears at bay, until her sister presented her with a gift filled with sweet sentiments from all of her girls.

Side note – I also need to order the jammies she gave to her bridesmaids because they were so adorable + looked super comfortable. I need these in my life like now!

Now on to Dakota + the guys. All of them are super welcoming + we were joking around within seconds.

When Stephanie was telling me about Dakota’s connection with each of the guys he selected to be a part of his crew, he talked about loyalty, friendship + trust, and that was definitely something that I felt with this group of guys. Especially his bestie Elliott.

Before Stephanie saw Dakota for their first look, she met her dad in the cocktail hour space…also had an impromptu first look with all the groomsmen where she showed off her custom veil. More on that in a bit.

We planned for a first look with the cliffs in the background but while Stephanie got ready, we watched the clouds roll in in every inch if the Cliff House and the beautiful views completely whitewashed in gone from visibility.

Someone was looking out for these two because just in time for their first look + portraits on the cliff, the fog rolled out and gave them the most dramatic, beautiful soft lighting.

Which was SUCH a blessing because as gorgeous as the cliffs are, they’re in full sun during the day which makes portraits tough normally. I’ll take overcast every single day.

All of the stress of the morning completely vanished the moment she saw Dakota.

We headed back into the cocktail hour space for family portraits because of the humidity. Not many venues have a Plan B this gorgeous. I loved it just as much as outdoors!

The fog rolled back in for the wedding ceremony and created a dreamy backdrop which gave their ceremony an almost dreamy feel.

 

 

 

These cuties did SO good throughout the day! Dakota’s niece + nephew were picture-perfect and so well-behaved!

After ceremony, cocktails on the patio before friends + family headed upstairs to the Atlantic ballroom for dinner + dancing. 

This guy gets his own photoshoot…cuz he’s got more than just ONE LOOK. 😉

Marrero Events + Minka Flowers + Cliff House. I can’t. I want to wallpaper my studio with pictures from their head tablescape. And I love the neon monogram they hung on the back wall. It was a great accent, especially peeking through the gorgeous tall centerpieces.

The day would not have been the same without their furbaby Moose there in some way.

So these two had a little Moose replica created by Bear Brook Bakery designed into their cake!

The dance floor opened fast, courtesy of Silver Arrow. Late night monogrammed glow sticks kicked the party up to the next level. This part was SO much fun + in addition to great memories, family + friends left with goodies from a custom Sugarfina Candy Bar.
