Oh, Stephanie and Ray…where do I even begin?
I absolutely adore this couple and their gorgeous summer estate wedding in Western Mass.
This is going to be one of those posts that Ben scolds me for, because it’s way too long. So settle in, my friend. Settle in.
First, doesn’t she remind you of a Disney princess? She’s stunning and adorable all at the same time. I started the day at Stephanie’s childhood home, hanging out with her dad in their gorgeously renovated space.
Kudos to mom and dad, ALLLL of your work was absolutely worth it. It really was an incredible backdrop for Steph to get ready. Gorgeous, as in I’m starting a vision board with so much from your home as inspiration!
Her MOH was her little sister who is an absolute star. The girls settled in to give Steph a little love and a lot of sass before they all got dressed for her wedding.
Meanwhile the guys were down the road wondering where their ride was, only to discover it was the giant bus they couldn’t see around! It gave them time for fist pumps and dancing with his mama…
Steph’s cousin drove her and her dad to the St. Mary’s Church in a Bentley. If you’re ever wondering if you should indulge in a luxury vehicle, even if for just a short time, the answer is YES.
The reflection of her dad was not staged, just timed right 🙂
I wish I could describe how awesome these two are, they’re kind and so welcoming and insanely fun. They wear their hearts on their sleeves – there was no question what either of them was feeling at any point during the day.
I loved Stephanie + Ray’s openness, and just how much they appreciate one another and everyone they brought together. They enjoyed every moment, lived every moment. Felt it all with grateful, happy hearts.
After portraits in the shade, we were whisked away to the secluded members-only area for portraits with a view.
Their attempt at a twirl! Haha…nailed it!
This club in Springfield is beyond beautiful – it reminds me of a Berkshires Estate wedding venue, with rolling hills, stately buildings and incredibly attentive staff.
Tablescapes by Amy Tyler Designs, who took care of everything for Steph and Ray.
I love this picture of Ray and his mom, as they stepped out for their mother-son dance.
The light during golden hour was literally perfect. This is my favorite time to photograph a bride and groom – the stress of the day has melted away, and it’s a moment for just the two of them to soak it in.
These two make everything fun. How fun does it look to feed each other cake right now?! Cake cut, dancefloor open. Clockwork Boston put on the BEST show and they were super sweet to boot. I loved their energy and talent, and highly recommend Clockwork Boston!
Steph and Ray, congrats. I feel like I got not just two clients, but two friends. Thank you two for opening up your hearts to Ben and I – we adore you, your families and all of the friends we got to meet!
