Stephanie and Tanner’s wedding took place basically throughout Western MA – from their home in Agawam to the Greek Church in Springfield and finally in Holyoke for the tented celebration. This was our first 8-hour wedding of the year, with all of the classic wedding festivities planned!
We’ve known Stephanie for a few years now – she was the MOH for our past bride Anna-Rae (see her Publick House wedding here!). She’s a nurse, and has been through it this year with not only wedding planning but handling the pandemic on the front lines at work. This day is so important to both her and Tanner – and the words they wrote to each other were so powerful. Tears flowing, but fortunately for them, they’re both pretty criers. Luckies.
The guys were a blast – Tanner’s dad pulled out his wedding album and wanted us to recreate some of the portraits for Tanner. So sweet! Family and pictures are super important to these two families – my people!
Back to the ladies…
Stephanie’s gorgeous mama and sisters helped her get dressed – her Allure Bridal gown from Pearl Bridal Boutique has the most gorgeous lace detail which hugged her tiny waist perfectly. Off to St George Cathedral for their Greek wedding ceremony!
Their Greek Orthodox wedding was beautiful – and Father Diametrious was SO welcoming and kind to Ben and I, going over the ceremony and even where to stand to get the best view beforehand. I so appreciated this!
Ummm…the light was AMAZING for their portraits. Stephanie with her parents above, and with Tanner below.
Stephanie & Tanner met on a blind date, set up by friends who knew they’d be a great match. As luck would have it, these two and their families LOVE Disney (we do, too!) and their families were headed there the SAME week. They met up while they were down there, introduced families and everyone clicked. Tanner’s brother Trevor talked about how his family fell in love with hers right away, so everyone was rooting for love.
Stephanie’s mom put a ton of thought on everyone’s safety and comfort – with a beautiful amount of class and style. Sanitation stations were available throughout the tent, and pashmina scarves, blankets and flip flops were ready and waiting for their friends and family. The food was incredible, the toasts and dances were beautiful and everyone was so excited to celebrate with them.
Congratulations to Stephanie + Tanner! I hope you had the best time in Aruba – get excited for your pictures and wedding film. Trailer coming soon!
