John & Lauren’s Belle Mer Wedding Newport RI

John & Lauren’s Belle Mer Wedding in Newport RI is one of the most beautiful we’ve photographed! It was so good to get back down to Newport. Totally inspired by this beautiful city and the photo opps there. This day was a blustery one, but the sun was out in full force to make up for the wind. We started at the Hyatt Regency on Goat Island in Newport for their getting ready pictures. I love Lauren’s gorgeous Jimmy Choo’s!

The morning was so relaxed! It was a breeze and before we knew it, Newport Trolley was here to take us to the church. John & Lauren’s wedding ceremony was down the road at St Lucy’s in Middletown RI. The kids pulled it together perfectly for the ceremony – look at this little guy with his girls!

John’s expression when he sees Lauren is the best. And he kept stealing glances at her during the ceremony – the sweetest!

After the ceremony we headed over the Ochre Court at Salve Regina for wedding portraits. This is a gorgeous location for pictures and I’m so glad we had a bit of time between the ceremony and reception to make this stop!

We made it to Belle Mer for their wedding reception late in the afternoon, and the light was soft and beautiful.

Ben headed inside to take some pictures of this incredible Newport wedding venue while I created a few more portraits with John & Lauren outside.

Such a grand entrance into the reception! Followed by a beautiful first dance.

We snuck out just before sunset for a few minutes of quiet and a more pictures…

A huge congratulations to John & Lauren!
