This wedding season is surpassing our expectations in every way. I say it loudly and proudly – all the time these days especially – but we really do work with the kindest couples out there. We’re blessed to be a part of such a monumental day in the lives of such wonderful people. We record their most beloved moments on a day that blurs by with excitement and anticipation, and we help them create a lasting and meaningful testament to their wedding. It’s truly an honor.
Jill & Joe are one of those couples we feel so blessed to work with – they’re thoughtful and sweet and fun, and ridiculously adorable together. They had visions of a Boston wedding with a view, and what better view of Boston than 50 floors above the city at the Prudential Center’s Top of the Hub. I’m so happy to share a glimpse into their absolutely incredible wedding day…
We started the day at the Sheraton at the Prudential Center…
Carrie, Jill’s beautiful MOH…they’ve been friends since they were 6!
I love love love this picture of Jill below. She looked beyond gorgeous in her Vera Wang gown.
We headed to St Cecilia’s Parish for their Catholic ceremony. Father Unni did the most incredible job at their ceremony. I love how personal he is, and how he connects with his couples and their guests. He speaks from the heart and his homily is so connected. In their case, he read what each other had told him about the other, and brought Jill to tears.
Cutie little wink for his bride!
Doesn’t Joe’s smile just make you want to smile? He couldn’t have looked happier during the ceremony. Jill was just the same, smiles for days…except when she was crying. 😉
Too much excitement for someone…shhhhh.
We headed outside after the ceremony to discover that the morning rain had cleared up and the skies were bright! Just in time for outdoor pictures, woot. We headed across the Charles River for a beautiful backdrop of the city, and because the day was magical, someone from the MIT boat club invited us in to take pictures on their dock just as we arrived. Win!
This girl can spin a basketball, long nails and all!
Joe set up an incredible connection for pictures, on a private roofdeck at the Prudential Center. We had the place to ourselves, and views just don’t get better.
Jill & Joe, and their wedding party, completely welcomed Ben and I in to their day as if we were an extension of the wedding party. We shared chats and laughs with not only J&J, but also with their favorite people too.
To the Top of the Hub for the reception! Here are some of our favorite moments from the night…
