Erin & Robby’s Boston College Wedding

Today is for Erin & Robby! Boston College is their heart – its where they met, and their relationship turned from friendship to love. So many family and friends attended BC as well, so it is fitting that their wedding ceremony would take place on the Boston College campus at St Ignatius Church in Boston’s Chestnut Hill. With dinner and celebrations 34 stories up at The BC Club, panoramic views overlooking downtown Boston. But let’s back up a bit, and start at the home where Erin grew up.

Erin’s gown! I love love loved her wedding gown – The Vicenta Gown by Pronovias, which she purchased at Musette Bridal on Newbury Street in Boston.

And of course she had the most fab Valentino shoes…I love the shot on the right where you can see the stitching detail on the front of her dress and the buttons in the back in the reflection.

And now to Erin, a complete stunner. Just as kind as she is beautiful.

Erin’s girls! I had so much fun with all of them…and the light in their porch was magical, too. #bonus

Meanwhile, Robby and his buds got ready at our favorite hotel in Boston, The Langham. Forecast had predicted a complete washout for their day. Literally, the meterologist said “Saturday will be a complete washout, but Sunday looks fantastic!” The guys kept an eye on the radar, and watched it clear up almost completely!

Erin’s mom and sisters helped her get dressed while dad waited outside, ready to see his gorgeous daughter in her wedding gown for the first time. And then her bridesmaids! I LOVE their reactions…

I love the way the reflection hides Erin’s face here…its almost veil-like.

Total loving pride.

Robby could not take his eyes off Erin. They were adorable throughout the ceremony, sharing little whispers and laughs.

Father David Callahan married Erin & Robby, and his message to them was so heartfelt and personal. He spoke directly to them, and shared words with their family and friends as well.

MARRIED!

These two care so much about their people – I loved seeing their sweet exchanges, taking a moment to soak in wedding day affection before pictures at Boston College’s iconic Gasson Hall.

The only thing better than a vintage Rolls Royce, is a Rolls Royce with a teal interior. Love!

Before heading up to enjoy cocktail hour with their family & friends, we planned for a few more pictures at Post Office Square, just around the corner from The BC Club.

Boston College Club is total a hidden gem wedding venue. There is so much to love about it, from the ambiance to the views-for-days to the staff and incredible food. We love working here, and are so honored to be on their preferred list of wedding vendors!

Cocktail hour with a view!

The evening was filled with sweet dances with their parents, and toasts from her beloved sisters and his big brother, with words of wisdom. Dinner was delish, and then, as soon as the “the dancefloor is now open” announcement came, these two were on the floor. And so was EVERY SINGLE PERSON at their wedding! It was awesome. The dancefloor stayed packed all night long, only to break for cookies.

This day was incredible. Erin & Robby, thank you for being the most gracious couple…in just a few weeks, we’ll have so many more memories captured for you!
