This Sterling MA family portrait session in is hands-down one of my favorite family sessions. We selected my favorite spot, momma made great outfit choices, and they so totally enjoy each other that it made the session a breeze. I love the genuineness in their eyes and in their smiles.

Which is why you’ll see far more black and white images here. Because while their outfits were beautifully coordinated and so appropriate for a warm-toned, fall session, its ultimately about the connection and devotion they have to each other. And that beauty begs for the simplicity of black and white.

What did they do with their portraits? They selected a 20×30 canvas wrap for their dining room wall of the four of them walking together, and a three 11×14 prints of the kids to refresh an existing frame set at the top of their stairs.
