There’s something pretty incredible about working with the little sister of one of our previous EEP brides turned EEP mama (to the CUTEST little guy here). You don’t have to put her parents address into GPS, her dad gives you a hug and helps with your bag when you arrive, and you even know where her gown will be hanging. You know these are the best kind of people and you feel honored to be a little bit like family.
Meet Lisa & Dave. Lisa had all of her details waiting in a beautifully lit corner of the room when I arrived. Loved this! Also, how cool is the custom wedding scrabble board?!
The always amazing Kim Fosher & Gina Joubert took care of all of the ladies’ hair and makeup.
Beautiful sisters! Lisa & Dave got married at the Armenian Church of Our Saviour in Worcester, the first Armenian church built in the US. The church was beautiful, and I especially loved the crown ceremony.
Lisa’s grandmother means so much to her. She chose her wedding date because it was her grandmother’s birthday. Lisa thought her grandmother wasn’t going to be able to make the wedding, but her mother surprised her and hired an attendant so she wouldn’t miss such a special moment!
After the ceremony, we headed to the Higgins House at WPI for some alone time in the gardens with just Lisa & Dave.
A bride in love and beautiful light…
The next stop was at St Joseph’s Abbey in Spencer, a place Lisa’s dad used to bring her for picnics and play when she was little. So the limo bus maaaay have gone to the wrong location and we maaaay have lost a good amount of our portrait time, but we totally rocked the 15 minutes we had together, covering all of our wedding party pictures in the most beautiful almost-evening light.
Finally, we headed to the Publick House in Sturbidge to celebrate. Here are some of my favorite moments from their party, MC’ed by DJ Gary Capezzuto.
Congratulations, Lisa & Dave!
