Erin + Eric’s Wellesley MA Wedding Photographer

Returning to reality after a wedding is SO HARD. How are you supposed to focus after the best day ever?! I’ve been there and I get it…and its why being a wedding photographer is so much fun – we still have so much excitement to share with our couples, even after the day is done! Erin & Eric got married in Wellesley MA and headed out for a 2-week epic honeymoon. They’re now just settling back in to reality at home…WITH THEIR WEDDING HIGHLIGHT!  Enjoy, E&E…

wellesley ma wedding photography and videography with drone services.

We provided both wedding photography & videography for Erin & Eric…I love when we create both for our couples. The day runs so smoothly, and as a bonus, our couples get awesome venue shots like the one above from my hunky FAA-certified drone operator husband.

Planning tip – ask for a few stems from your florist for your details! They really give details pictures that extra something. Thanks to Flowers by Victoria for these beautiful ranunculus!

Everyone was in the BEST mood, and Erin even got a sweet open-mouthed kiss from this handsome little fella to start the day. Meanwhile, at the other end of the hotel, Eric was showing off his new ring and giving love to his favorite guys as they got ready for the day.

From laughs to tears, and back again. That was the theme of the morning for these sweet humans and their favorite people.

I love this series of pictures – with the moms helping Erin into her gown, and her sister adjusting her veil while her bridesmaids cried in the background after seeing Erin in her gown for the first time. It was all beautiful to witness and such a testament to how lovely E&E are.

The wedding ceremony was at St. John the Evangelist Church in Wellesley, Erin’s lifelong church home. The ceremony was beautifully traditional, but what really caught me was the visible connection and excitement that Erin & Eric shared throughout the entire event. I’m sharing in all black and white, because church stained-glass lighting can be distracting and I don’t want their energy to be muddied by the lighting AT ALL.  Tell me you can’t feel it after you scroll through! These are the types of relationships we live to photograph. Real, beautiful, unscripted. They are all in on their love.

We traveled across town to Wellesley Country Club, where Erin’s mom was a longtime president. I love the vibe of the club, which exudes majestic, estate-like vibes.

They wanted foliage, and they got it! Perfect fall New England weather that kept giving them that “pinch me, is this our wedding day?!” feeling.

The ballroom was ready for guests as we wrapped up portrait time, so I literally ran in to capture the beautiful setting before friends & family settled in. Looking for an easy way to uplevel your wedding reception room? It’s in the lighting. Here, Erin & Eric had a revolving uplight set to add an accent to the room, provided by their band Clockwork Boston (quite often bands & DJs will provide lighting packages, or you can hire a lighting company). They worked in beautiful floral pieces AND their own personal touch in the growlers they worked hard to collect, as brewery visits are a hobby of theirs.

This look, this one look, is what the entire day is about.

Ok, so I’ve told you about how loving these two are and were throughout the day. But they also LOVE to dance. They were the first to hit the dancefloor when Clockwork Boston started their set, and neverrrr left. But don’t worry, they were certainly not alone. Clockwork Boston kept the floor PACKED…even Erin’s grandmother couldn’t resist getting low on the dancefloor! Here are some of my favorite dance moments to photograph from the night…

Erin & Eric, we hope this day was everything you hoped it would be, and more. We loved celebrating with you, thank you for choosing us!
