Hope & Michael’s Apple Hill Farm Wedding

I had the most beautiful light for Hope & Michael’s engagement session last summer. It was soft and warm and magical. People comment on how beautiful their engagement session was even to this day. So it didn’t surprise me when the light was just the same on their wedding day. I’d imagine it no other way.

Their wedding was at the beautiful Apple Hill Farm, a total hidden gem in Central Mass – Leominster, to be specific. Set back in the countryside, Apple Hill Farm has a beautiful, intimate feel, combining authentic farm with wedding elegance. The mix of crystal chandeliers & mahogany wood inside with apple orchard and chickens outside works beautifully.

Hope and Michael got ready at the Devens Hilton, which coincidentally has a garden theme, just like their wedding! Hope and Michael are some of the nicest people you’ll meet, so I wasn’t surprised to be immediately welcomed by their parents and wedding party. It was such a comfortable day!

Hope and Michael’s wedding ceremony overlooked the apple orchard at Apple Hill Farm. I loved watching Michael as he waited for Hope to arrive at the end of the aisle. He wouldn’t look, until he knew she was close. And then the look in his eyes – with the weight and emotion of this incredible moment – when he looked up and saw his beautiful bride. Still brings tears to my eyes! Scroll down, you’ll see 🙂

Soft, beautiful, magical light. Hope proactively reached out to me when they were planning their day to ask about the best light of the day. She wanted to plan their ceremony around the light. Just one more reason I love this beautiful bride.

The bouquets by Windmill Florists were stunning! Soft pinks and purples and greens, the perfect blend for a garden-themed wedding.

I think Hope and Michael took their first deep breath of the day, after family and wedding party portraits were finished and it was just the two of them in the apple orchard. We had about 10 minutes for pictures, and definitely made the most of our time together.

Hope kept it together all day…until their first dance. It was incredibly sweet to watch the two of them together, and I feel lucky to have been witness to the moment.

I love love LOVE Hope’s cutie little smile at me in this one!

The garter/bouquet toss is all fun and games until your boyfriend’s younger brother catches the garter!

Congratulations, Hope & Michael!
