Julie & Mat’s Hingham wedding day was forecasted to be a washout. They predicted thunderstorms all afternoon, but instead, these two got a wedding day miracle…not a drop of rain fell throughout the day. Not one. Instead, we enjoyed sunshine and happiness with these two lovely families.
Julie’s mom put a lot of thought and time into the beautiful details of the day, and Mat’s mom is the one we have to thank for connecting us with these two. She, along with her beautiful daughter, are fellow wedding photographers!
Ben’s pictures with the guys. I am loving the bowtie trend.
Julie got ready in her parents’ home in Hingham, where she grew up. It meant so much to her parents to get ready at home.
Their wedding ceremony was at St Paul’s Parish in downtown Hingham.
Julie’s best friends are her sisters. She is blessed with three beautiful sisters and one handsome brother. And one of my favorite things about the day was seeing their connection. Such a close family, and so I loved the moment when Julie looked back at her sister, her support, at the start of the ceremony.
LOVE this exit! They had ribbon sticks with bells for their church exit and it was so much fun…and picture perfection.
We headed to Hingham Harbor for portraits. Just in time for the ice cream truck.
Look at all of these gorgeous sisters! Love my fellow blondies.
And then the trolley brought the wedding party to cocktail hour. And it was just Julie & Mat. LOVE.
Their reception was at the South Shore Club, and was decadent in golds, creams and greens, each detail carefully thought through by Julie’s mom. She was so excited for Julie to see the room!
Ben captured this moment, just before they were announced into the room.
K2 had their dancefloor packed immediately. While their friends & family danced, Mat & Julie stepped away for a minute to take in the beautiful details of their reception. I loved this one, the sheer happiness on Julie’s face! The rest of the night was filled with happiness, so much dancing, and an incredible amount of love for these two.
Congratulations, Julie & Mat!
