We have a thing for high school sweethearts, and I think they may have a thing for us! Chuck and Kate have been dating since Junior year of high school (Junior, right? Prom?) and after all their years together, were ready to get married! They planned an evening wedding at the lovely Stevens Estate in North Andover. The day was beautiful and sunny and fall foliage was just beginning to turn, with pops of orange and yellow mixed with the green pines. Their style matched that of the estate perfectly, it was no wonder they selected this venue. Classic, vintage, elegant.
Kate was adorable, with hugs and regal champagne drinking to fit with the stately furniture and decor of The Stevens Estate.
Chuck seemed cool as a cucumber…hanging with his guys, just one room over.
While Kate’s best friends finished up their hair, Kate’s nerves started to get the best of her. And her fix? “I cuddle when I get nervous,” she said.
Two beautiful family moments…
It was important to Kate and Chuck that they didn’t see each other before the ceremony. With their ceremony scheduled for sunset, we made a plan to take as many pictures as possible in the beautiful natural evening light before their wedding. Kate on one side of the mansion and Chuck on the other.

As the sun started to go down on the Estate, Kate’s lovely friend filled the garden with music to welcome guests.

Their wedding reception was in the tent at The Stevens Estate, with tasteful touches of fall mixed with their elegant gold & blue colors.
Kate’s sis and MOH gave an incredible toast, just after Chuck’s best man and best bud started off the night with a welcome.
Chuck and Kate are musicians, so music was an incredibly important part of their wedding. They hired Cover Story Band to rock their night, and that they did. Dancefloor was PACKED all night.
