Today is all about a beautiful bride and groom and their gorgeous wedding at The Harrington Farm, a central Mass wedding venue with the perfect blend of rustic elegance. Meet Lindsay & Kyle.
Harrington Farm is not far from our studio, in the tiny, adorable town of Princeton MA. It’s an old farmhouse with an attached barn-inspired function room. It’s got such character and class, with era-appropriate room designs in the farmhouse and exposed beams in the barn. The land around the building is a photographer’s candy shop, with a rolling tall-grass field, shaded yard with fieldstone landing and old barn out back. Everyone got ready in the farmhouse – they have places for both the bride and the groom, and their favorite people.
Kyle & Lindsay planned to have an outdoor ceremony, and Harrington Farm had a perfect setting. While Lindsay finished with her final preparations, Kyle waited anxiously for the first glance as she stepped out onto the farmers porch. Meanwhile, Lindsay’s mom handed out tissues as she walked down the aisle. Based on all the tears, this was a brilliant move!
The expression on Kyle’s face above as he watches his bride – with so much love in his eyes – is one of my favorite captures of the day. And also when he realized that his pocket square could double as a tissue on the fly. That was an adorable, and much appreciated by Lindsay, moment too!
Cutest!
Lindsay planned the perfect color scheme for their wedding – the vibrant purple bridesmaid dresses and bouquets popped against the guys’ tan suits and green field. Once I got everyone corraled, the wedding party pictures were a piece of cake. The guys came together – and sang! – like a boy band, and the ladies are just too photogenic and so smitten with their girl Lindsay!
Once everyone left to enjoy cocktail house, Lindsay & Kyle got to enjoy some alone time. And I got to gently craft wedding portraits that celebrate their love and their beautiful wedding day.
AND this is why I love my hubby working with me. This next, total heartfelt picture was all him. And I fall a bit more in love with him when I’m culling and find these treasures. Just like I hope they will with each other when they look at this picture and re-feel the moment.
I wasn’t kidding about the guys singing. So much soul, gentlemen!
One of my favorites…
When we finished with portraits, this little princess ran over with a handmade gift for the bride and groom.
Their wedding reception at Harrington Farm was perfection – incredibly fun, starting with their intros and incredible first dance, speeches, signature drink and finally the dancing! This crew knows how to dance. I was of course dancing along with them from the sidelines. DJ Ron Furr was awesome (I’d definitely recommend him!) and pretty much played all of my favorite songs. I mean, what’s not to like about Duck Sauce?! Enjoy the celebration!
An all-around incredible day for an incredible couple. Congrats, Wahlbergs! It was a pleasure being alongside for your most memorable day.
This picture are AMAZING! Erica and her Husband were great to work with. When we needed direction, we got direction. When we needed candid, we got candid.
I would highly recommend them to everyone!
