Today I’m sharing a glimpse into Chris & Lauren’s gorgeous Tower Hill Botanic Garden wedding. These two reserved the very last Saturday of Tower Hill’s wedding season, and they got it just right.
The day started at The Beechwood Hotel, our favorite hotel in Worcester. Everyone was so calm! Hair and makeup was almost done, flowers had already arrived, and Lauren had all of her details ready for me. An awesome start to the day.
My favorite getting ready moment was Lauren’s gown reveal with her mom. Lauren had kept her gown a secret from her mom, and it made for the sweetest moment as mom waited excitedly to see her.
Chris & Lauren’s wedding ceremony was at St Mary of the Hills in Boylston, just down the road from Tower Hill.
This was a day filled with so much happiness! Love these smiles.
Chris is a super nice guy and plays center for a Eurobasket team in Spain. So he’s tall, real tall. He’s the perfect balance for Lauren. She’s visibly happier when he’s around – he makes her laugh and he brings the calm. And he was all smiles as he waited for his bride to walk down the aisle and marry him.

When we arrived at Tower Hill, everything was calm and quiet, as Tower Hill staff closed the gardens and Peppers Artful Events transformed the Orangerie. It gave Lauren a moment to take it all in. It was a total “pinch me, I’m getting married HERE!?” moment.
This group was fantastic. And they had the cutest little flower girls and handsome little ring bearer. He helped me with portraits of the guys while the girls looked for fairies in the gardens.
In general, I’m 99% not a fan of phones out at weddings. I’ve seen so many people miss an incredible moment because they were watching it through a phone. But here is the 1% where it is absolutely amazing. Chris’s brother was deployed overseas before the wedding, but thanks to his phone, the two had the chance to connect on his wedding day.
As the sun approached the horizon, these two shared a few more minutes together before heading to cocktail hour to enjoy time with friends and family.
This is the face of a little girl who waited patiently for mac and cheese pops, and was allowed to take TWO when they were ready!
Surprise, Lauren had a second dress that NO ONE knew about! With her hair pulled back and a lighter dress, this was one happy bride.
Congratulations Chris & Lauren. This day was just the best. Thank you for inviting us to be a part of it.
