Combine two of the cutest people with one of my favorite wedding venues on a cool November afternoon and you get Luke & Allie’s Gibbet Hill engagement session! These two are getting married at this same location next October, but knew they wouldn’t be able to get up to the beautiful castle ruins beyond the rolling hills of Gibbet Hill on their wedding day, so it made a perfect location for their engagement session. Allie and I are total kindred spirits with happy hearts. I’m pretty sure we mentally booked with each other before we actually even spoke. And then we waited patiently for Iron Man Luke to recover from not one but two super-athlete injuries (things I know absolutely nothing about, but respect. A. Lot.).

The day was a perfect one for pictures – the sun graciously hid behind light clouds until closer to sunset and then came out to give us absolutely gorgeous warm light in the castle. Oh and there was a Delorean – a REAL Delorean – in the Gibbet Hill parking lot. So random, and I’m not even a huge Back to the Future fan, but it was pretty darn cool to see. And of course get a picture of Allie in front of it. 🙂
