Melissa and Ryan waited a long time for their perfect Tower Hill Botanic Garden wedding, and oh was it worth the wait!
Tower Hill is one of my most favorite venues, and after not having been for so long because of the pandemic, I think Melissa and I were equally excited for this very special day.
Their wedding day started at Beechwood Hotel in Worcester, where we entered a room full of happy, laughing bridesmaids. Any day that starts with confetti filled balloons is my kind of day! I knew this would be a good one right from the start. Well, if we’re being honest, I knew this was going to be a good one long before this day even arrived.
Melissa attended my virtual cocktail hours last year and was 100% on top of planning for photos. She had all of her details ready for me and an extra bundle of flowers from her sweet florist Danielson for me to use for styling. I was also given a completely separate room with lots of space + beautiful light, hence the “extra” lay-flat detail work!
Family is so important to Melissa, so while her bridesmaids got ready across the hall, she and her sister (aka bestie for life and the FUNNIEST) got ready together with a mix of laughs and almost-tears before dad came in for the “first” first look.
Ryan got ready with the help of the dads, his brother, who is also his best man and best buds. The guys were easygoing and all smiles and ready for this big, big day.
Melissa and Ryan had trolleys ready to take them over to Tower Hill Botanic Garden for their first look in West Boylston. This was a rare hot day, but we’ll take that over the rain that the forecast had threatened.
Melissa and Ryan had a private first look on the big lawn at Tower Hill Botanic Garden, with wedding party and family watching from a very far distance.
We strolled the secret garden where the ceremony would be, and then headed to the systematic garden for family portraits and a special guest arrival by Milo their, sweet pup. We all know this was the highlight of Melissa’s day!
Once Milo was ready, it was time for the ceremony, which was officiated by their groomsmen and sweet friend Chris. He did a phenomenal job making it super personal and meaningful. I love that Melissa and Ryan shared personal vows with one another, even if microphones were off.
Once the ceremony was complete, it was time for cocktail hour in the Winter Garden at Tower Hill.
I’m seriously enjoying watching everyone come together this year. After such a long break from celebrations and from being with one another, people are just extra happy! Also, these two are adorable…if you love someone, definitely check their teeth before a photo opp!
Melissa’s mom’s the cutest…and HIIIIII Harrison!
Any wedding that welcomes guests with a champagne + lavender sprig “place card” and color-coordinated macaron is my kind of wedding!
After dinner + toasts, the dancefloor opened with traditional Armenian line dancing!
Melissa and Ryan, congratulations. To Tower Hill, to being married, and to the Maldives!
