Today’s feature is for Meredith & Brandon and the celebration of marriage at Atlantic Resort Newport!

The Atlantic Resort Newport overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, with a manicured lawn for outdoor weddings (like Meredith & Brandon’s). Cambria Suites Newport is also on property so friends & family can settle in for the weekend. After some drone footage of the grounds, Ben and I headed in to greet Meredith & Brandon, who were getting ready in suites just around the corner from each other. These two were so calm and relaxed! There was a great vibe to the day, even early on.

Brandon’s brothers were his support throughout the day and stole the show with their toasts during the reception. One of the things I enjoyed most about this day is the closeness of the families. They each have brothers – this was a day of A LOT of brothers – and share such a strong connection with their siblings and parents.

Back to the ladies. I was so impressed with the delivery of the flowers by Weedweavers Wakefield. How cool is this wooden bouquet caddy?! The flowers were stunning and this made transportation a breeze.

Meredith opened her card & gift from Brandon before getting into her gown. So so calm and ready to marry her best friend. Oh, and you’ll get a peek below at one of my instant-favorite-people-of-all-time, Grandmom below. She might be the funniest person I’ve ever met.

Meredith looked so elegant in her gown. I loved the shoulder detail, and those beautiful earrings from Brandon! Once she was ready, she met her dad for the very first look. He barely held it together, waiting patiently to see his baby girl on her wedding day. But he did it!

Brandon & Meredith asked us for help choosing locations for their first look & wedding party portraits. They rented a vintage trolley and were up for anything off-sand. I’m pretty excited about the plan we came up with…from Paradise Park for their bride & groom first look & family portraits (free of wind & rocky terrain!), followed by 3rd beach and then the cliffs at Purgatory, all within 10 minutes of the Atlantic Resort.

In Jewish tradition, Brandon & Meredith had a private ketubah signing ceremony led by Brandon’s rabbi, Rabbi Jerome David, prior to their ceremony at Atlantic Resort. In the eyes of the temple, this is when they are officially married.

The Ballroom at The Atlantic Resort is on the second floor. Step out of the elevator and you’re greeted with this gorgeous modern, airy room filled with lounge furniture and light.

Meredith & Brandon, congratulations friends. Your day was perfect. You are both so so lovely, and your families are just the same. We loved being a part of the day, and are so excited for your journey ahead!
