Justin Timberlake just lost his biggest fan to another man. Well…not sure if that’s entiiiiirely true. Sarah may still be his super fan, but she is officially after marrying Mike, her longtime love earlier this month. Their wedding day at The Colonial Hotel was so completely fairytale and I’m thrilled to share the highlight!
Meet Sarah! Gorgeous and sweet as can be, she was surrounded by her mom and all of her “sisters” on the morning of her wedding.
Oh, and during her wedding planning process, she discovered an unknown talent…calligraphy! She designed the invitations and programs, hand-addressed every envelope and hand-painted watercolor/calligraphy’ed (that’s a verb, right?!) all of the placecards. Oh, as well as hangers for all of the girls. Samples above. Sarah, when are you opening your Etsy store!?
Meet Mike! Total great guy surrounded by more great guys (read: rowdy, fun and super supportive of their new favorite photographers). They kept us entertained all day long.
One last black and white before we head out to the ceremony, of the moment when Sarah’s dad saw her for the very first time in her gown.
Final touches complete, everyone headed to the First Congregational Church of Rutland for the ceremony. A bright church with lots of window light and the lovely Pastor David Fish who made their service special.
Mike never took his eyes off Sarah.
Sarah made little petal packets for her guests, to shower her and Mike as they exited the church. Love this!
When Sarah and I discussed her wedding day, she wanted to find a unique, beautiful place for portraits. I was thrilled when she trusted my suggestion, a bit off the beaten path but total hidden gem.
I ADORE THIS WEDDING PARTY! They embraced all of the portraits, including the SUPER tall grass (thank you to the guys for stomping a path through for the ladies) and group tick checks afterward. All with smiles and love for their favorite couple. And when wedding party portraits were complete, they headed to the bus to continue the party. And Mike got Sarah all to himself.
Something a little different…
Sarah & Mike’s wedding reception at The Colonial Hotel was perfect for a summer night wedding. The draped tent was adorned with soft pink and green accents and lots of Sarah’s beautiful calligraphy.
Best speech everrrrr right here. This is why videography is a must. I would be sad for them if they didn’t have it on film. Thankfully, David Anthony Media was there to capture it all for them. I’m dying to hear it again. And then the ladies. Ohhhh the ladies. Swifty might have knocked it out of the part with his speech, but the ladies stole the show with their remake of NSync’s “Bye Bye Bye.” Sarah’s reaction! Quickly goes from wonder to total shock and excitement. Never to be topped…
AHHmazing. They somehow choreographed and coordinated all of this without Sarah knowing. Complete with headsets and a cutout of JT.
Sarah & Mike surprised their guests with a sweet treat after dinner…discovering the little sign with the wetknaps made me like Sarah that much more. Fingies!
Cotton candy shot. Check. Bouquet toss. Check. Garter toss. Check. Party time!
Sarah and Mike, your wedding was incredible. We loved being there with you and wish you so much happiness & love! xoxoxo.
