Nick & Shawna’s Cambridge Wedding

Today’s feature is of Shawna & Nick’s Boston Marriott Cambridge wedding. Theirs was a day filled with laughs and love, to celebrate a couple who has been through a lot together and who’s love only continues to grow deeper…

A special shout out to Mother Nature for the veil-sweeping wind during their first look!

Shawna & Nick had lots of out of town guests, so a Boston hotel was a perfect match to accommodate friends & family traveling – getting ready, ceremony and wedding reception were all in one place at the Boston Marriott in Cambridge.

Gifts from Nick!

Nick’s a Boston guy, just moved home the WEEK before their wedding – his dad and Arlington buddies were ready to celebrate. Nick & Shawna have the most handsome little 4 year old and Shawna officially has an 8yo step-son. As a fellow mama of 8yo and 4yo boys, I was instantly in love with these two!

Shawna’s girls are AWESOME. She has a great support system. She was a little nervous in front of the camera (I mean, who isn’t really?!), but she easily let her guard down and lit up the room with her gorgeous smile.

Boston Marriott Cambridge Hotel has this magical rooftop garden that was perfect for their first look and portraits. Thank goodness they had a first look because a summer storm rolled in shortly after!

Time to get married!

Nick & Shawna’s read heart-felt vows to one another during their ceremony, without a dry eye in the room, and afterwards we slipped away for pictures with the Boston skyline, just the two of them…the rain lifted mostly and we had soft, romantic lighting. We also had the most colorful Uber driver ever!

Welcome to Boston, girlfriend!

The rest of the night was spent celebrating in the Grand Ballroom. Shawna & Nick took time to connect with each and every one of their guests, and shared laughs and dances for the rest of the night. This is what stood out to me the most, was the care and attention they regarded everyone with.

Congratulations Shawna & Nick, on your move and your marriage. Here’s to much happiness in Boston!
