Rachel + Zac’s LaBelle Winery Wedding

I’ve been waiting patiently for Rachel and Zac’s Labelle Winery wedding in Southern NH since their Wingaersheek Beach engagement session last summer. Take a peek at their session and you’ll see why! They’re adorable and sweet and all around great people. Let’s dive in!

Everyone got ready down the road at The Grand at Bedford Village Inn. We’ve photographed several weddings at BVI but this was our first time at The Grand. It’s classy and the suite had so much natural light. Rachel got ready with the help of Jo Louise Beauty, along with her beautiful mama, sister, SIL and dental hygienist besties. Dental hygienists…hence the perfect smiles!

Rachel + Zac have looked forward to getting married for a long time – the day was filled with laughs and fun moments, with moments of happy tears, too!

Here’s a birds-eye view of Labelle Winery from across the vineyard. Ben photographed this angle with his drone! The benefits of having an FAA-certified drone operator as your wedding videographer husband!
Zac is a firefighter and many of the guys on his side of the party were, too. He’s easy-going and great to be around, always with a smile.

We planned their first look and formal portraits in the field next to the vineyard. Here’s a little behind the scenes of Sara clearing the “backdrop” of yuck. I had to snap this picture – these are the things we do that no one usually sees!

Wedding days go by in the blink of an eye, and feel so surreal. Watching their first look made me feel like this had to have been such a ‘pinch me’ moment for them. This moment really is the start of their forever together.

Their favorite people! I love first looks for SO many reasons, but there is one downside. They generally happen mid-day when the sun is at its harshest…which means squinty eyes, unflattering shadows and an overall not great experience. I LOVE finding little pockets of shade, like the edge of the field above and the side of the building here.

I just can’t even with these two…this is just what they do. They get together and get silly and look adorable. Unbelievably easy to photograph, thanks girlies! LaBelle Wedding

Wedding ceremonies at Labelle Winery overlook the vineyard. These two were married by Patrick, a family friend and the ceremony maaay have been the fastest we’ve ever seen. Short and sweet and married!

That veil shot, though!

Labelle Winery is just as beautiful indoors as it is outdoors – the ballroom is modern luxury at its finest. Add a little greenery, candles + champagne and it’s ready to go!

We snuck down to the wine cellar for a quick picture during the salad course, and came back to a crazy dance floor! I’ve literally never seen this – it was awesome to see everyone having a blast, even without the bride and groom! Nuimage must have made it happen.

Dance floor cleared for dinner and the sisters stayed out, glad to have a whooole dance floor to spin around on. I said to my sister/assistant that I wished either of my sisters liked to dance because I would have loved this moment in my life with my sisters!

Before the wedding, Rachel mentioned the DJ was playing a mashup for the father/daughter dance…I’ve seen this before. It starts slow and switches to a fast song and is always a fun thing. She left out the part that they had a whole choreographed dance that went along with the mashup! WOW. The place went wild.

One of my favorite things about this wedding was all the ways they surprised their guests with extra treats…from the father/daughter dance to hand-rolled cigars to the best fireworks display. This day was filled with so much joy and so much fun. I love this sweet family and can’t wait to photograph their gorgeous babies! (lol, no rush you guys…I’ll be here.)
