Taylor’s Senior Portraits

Taylor’s senior session is one of my favorites of the season. We headed just down the road from their home for her pictures, with mom and little sis Sadie alongside. Everything came together perfectly, from Taylor’s relaxed demeanor to her outfit selections (so glad she braved the blue dress… even though it was about 50 degrees out!), to the perfectly overcast skies.

Mom helped me manage the reflector, and when we turned it just right, it popped the most magical light into her eyes.

Taylor is absolutely beautiful inside and out, and one of the parts of herself that she’s most proud of is being the best big sister to her sidekick Sadie. So it only felt right to include Sadie in Taylor’s pictures. We created a few casual portraits and then had some fun with the fallen leaves.

Taylor totally got her model on with me…mom & Sadie headed down the hill and T and I spent a few extra minutes just the two of us, creating these gorgeous portraits…which ended up being mom’s favorites!

Taylor, Ronelle & Sadie – this session was such a pleasure and I’ve loved getting to know the 3 of you!

  1. Ronelle says:

Erica, I can not thank you enough for allowing her to be her true self with you.
These photos, they are beyond amazing, and here I am again tearing. ( I think the other night I was just in shock and awe for it to have sunk in)
The Learning Center for the Deaf ( Tays HS ) has given Taylor everything, from language, to community and most importantly to belonging ( it’s not easy being from a hearing family , no matter how we try as her parents)
Can not thank you enough Erica, I look forward to doing this again with you in 11 years with Sadie!!! 🙂
