Today’s wedding highlight is Monica & Tim’s beautiful, elegant, happy marriage the Boston Harbor Hotel. It started as one of those days where the threat of rain lingered in the forecast, but it only grew brighter and warmer as the day passed. Being right on the Boston Harbor, a lightly overcast day was really ideal, and made for a beautiful backdrop for their pictures.
Monica seemed so relaxed the morning of her wedding, as she passed gift to her favorite girls and contently sat for hair and makeup.
Handsome groom!
Monica got ready with just her mom, and gave her bridesmaids a grande first look. I can’t get enough of their reactions!
Monica borrowed her sister-in-law’s veil, and helped with the finishing touches before she headed outo to meet at the place where it all started, The Landing, next to the New England Aquarium. The place where Tim and Monica met. And where Amy, Monica’s protective sister, searched Tim’s bag when he got up to go to the bathroom. Ha! Glad he passed the test…
The Landing saved them two seats at the bar, and a complimentary fish bowl. These two soaked up their time, and were showered with congrats by the hundreds of people out that day.
We headed back through the Rose Kennedy Greenway so we could capture a variety of portraits.
So we had fun, lots of fun, during pictures…Tim let out his inner tiger, we played in the fountain with the kids and they got to enjoy some quality time together before heading to their wedding togehter. I wonder what they were chatting about below!
Beautiful bride & her maids…and the guys breaking it down to Backstreet Boys!
Monica & Tim are the proudest furparents to Charlie & Sophie, and bestowed C&S with the duty of carrying the rings down the aisle during the ceremony in the Atlantic Room at the Boston Harbor Hotel.
Monica & Tim kept this wedding so personal, and Monica’s brother served as the officiant for their wedding.
The moment when you marry your best friend and emotion runs over – laughter and tears collide. I LOVE this moment.
Bride’s got super powers! This picture was inspired by Happy Potter, I think? Though I think we improved upon it. 🙂
The team at the Boston Harbor Hotel turned the room so efficiently that it was ready when we were back from short post-ceremony waterfront shoot. Flowers by Darlene had the most incredible centerpieces (and bouquets!) with both succulents and dusty miller…my two faves!
Even though the pups weren’t at the reception, the pups were still at the reception!
Stardust Band rocked the dancefloor!
From start to finish, this day was just perfect. Congratulations Monica & Tim, we loved being there with you!
