Greg & Marybeth’s Point Lookout Wedding in upstate Maine (near Camden, which just happens to be a little slice of heaven) was the most amazing ‘destination wedding within driving distance’ and we had the privilege to capture it all. I connected instantly with Marybeth & Greg when I first started talking with these two about a year ago. When the last question they had for me before booking was:
“How do you feel about glamping?!”
(Glam-camping, that is.) I knew we had a good one on our hands. And so we’ve been looking forward to it all year. Point Lookout Resort, their wedding venue, is a beautiful combination of rustic charm, high end details, and breathtaking views.
Here’s a glimpse into their amazing wedding weekend in Camden, Maine.
Marybeth & Greg kicked off their wedding weekend at the beautiful, newly renovated Cellar Door Winery in Lincolnville ME at their wedding rehearsal dinner. So naturally, Ben and I had to check it out.
Greg chartered The Lazy Jack, a 58′ sailboat docked in Camden ME, for the guys the morning of the wedding.
Point Lookout Resort overlooks Penobscot Bay, and the view is like none other. The picture on the left is from the inside of the reception space, which is rounded out with floor to ceiling windows to let that beautiful view (and light!) in.
Marybeth & Greg’s details embraced the refined rustic beauty of their venue, from the log placecard holders to burlap, twine & lace wrapped mini-vases of wild flowers and herbs.

The bottom of the mountain is just as gorgeous. We happily shuttled down for more pictures with just the two of them. Adorable Crazy-About-Each-Other Couple + Barn + Overgrown Field + Ocean Edge = happy photog. Or any combination of those will work too!
These two have such incredible chemistry together, and I’m pretty sure I told them (and so many of their friends too!) they’re adorable about a thousand times.
The Larry Williams Band is amazing! They had the dancefloor packed all night.
And so while the other room was rockin, Ben caught this sweet moment, as M&G slipped away to the other room to enjoy their slideshow. Just the two of them.
