Newborn Baby Girl at The Ewings Photography Studio in Bolton MA

I had the opportunity to photograph the sweetest newborn baby girl at our studio in Bolton last week.

I’ve been terrible at blogging over the last year in particular, so that’s one of my goals in 2020…is to make sure I’m sharing what we’re doing! So while this little one slept her session away, I got to play with her big brother, spend time with mom and dad, and create so many beautiful options to celebrate her arrival and the completion of their sweet family of four.

She woke up just long enough to give me a few sweet smiles and open-eyed moments before settling back in for more slumber.

This family recently moved to Bolton, and I am so glad they came in to see me. They value portraits, and had a session for their son when he was born as well. They selected this smiley portrait of their daughter to complement the framed print from their first newborn session. How could seeing this portrait big on your wall every day not change your life for the better?! Sweet little girl.

Complete perfection. This beautiful portrait will welcome them as a 16×24 canvas every time they settle down for dinner in the dining room. Callie & Sean, thank you for entrusting me with this important moment. I am so happy to help welcome baby girl into your family through the portrait art we created together.

The newborn stage is one that is so fleeting – when these two came back in for their portrait reveal & design appointment, the first thing Callie said to me is “wow, she already looks so different” and I hear this consistently.

One week can mean a world of difference, so portraits are so important! I know firsthand how quickly these moments you think you’ll never forget start to slip, replaced with fresher moments. Portraits – particularly when turned into printed art – become not just meaningful momentos, but also memory-keepers, in the most beautiful way.
