Sean & Rebecca’s Taj Boston Hotel Wedding

Meet Sean & Rebecca. They had the most elegant wedding at the Taj Boston Hotel earlier this month on a gorgeous Spring day much like today. We captured so much joy, love and beautiful moments throughout the day that this highlight is just scratching the surface, but I wanted to share my favorite moments with them (and you!) while we finish the task of hand-editing their entire collection of wedding pictures.

Before we begin their story, we also have to give an incredibly big thank you to All That Events, one of our favorite DJs, for connecting us with Sean & Rebecca. We always love working with Sheila & Zeke – they consistently provide the same level of customer service and care that we strive to. And they have gorgeous uplighting. 🙂

The Taj Hotel in Boston is hands-down one of the most luxurious hotels in the city. They offer incredibly unique wedding venue spaces, from their Ballrooms to the Rooftop Terrace and The Dining Room. Their service is top-notch.

Rebecca and Sean are surrounded by incredibly warm, inviting people. From their parents to siblings (who were appropriately MOH and Best Man) to their closest friends. So many laughs were shared throughout the day, from getting ready to hamming it up on the dancefloor to throwback 90s hip hop (my jam!).

Rebecca chose a mix of old and new for her accessories – from her gorgeous Jimmy Choo shoes to her grandmother’s blue necklace and earrings. But her Marchesa wedding gown from L’Elite on Newbury St stole the show.

Her mother’s sweet touches and the moment with her dad before she headed out to the Commonwealth Mall for her first look with Sean are two of my favorite “details” of the day.

Love this one of Sean, as he waits patiently for Rebecca, calm with the bustle of the city and the Boston Public Garden behind him.

And the wait was worth it.

Sean & Rebecca’s wedding ceremony was held in The Dining Room, overlooking Arlington St and views of the Boston Public Garden.

The Taj has the best views of Boston, and with their cocktail hour on the Rooftop Terrace, they were able to enjoy views from all angles with their family & friends.

While on the Terrace, the staff at the Taj meticulously prepared The Dining Room for the wedding reception and celebration.

How stunning is the back of her gown?!

Another favorite moment of mine were the speeches by Rebecca’s sister and Sean’s brother. They were incredibly heart-felt, with laughs and sincere sweet sentiments. Caroline, Rebecca’s sister, had a tough time getting started so their brother Stanley stood by her for support. This was so symbolic of their close-knit family.

The Taj created their cake and they laughed their way through the cutting together. Love the amber uplighting in the background, adding ambiance to the room. By All That Events.

Ok, Caroline. I’m serious – you have to call me when you start planning your wedding. I will come down for some southern fun!

And for the rest of the night, they danced and laughed and celebrated with their most favorite people in the world.

Congratulations, Sean & Rebecca!
